Unlock the Power of AI – Get Amazon’s Free ‘AI Ready’ Course Now!

US tech giant Amazon has announced that it will offer free training courses on generative artificial intelligence through its AI Ready initiative, which is designed to provide free AI skills training to two million people worldwide by 2025.

To achieve this goal, the company is launching three initiatives. Amazon highlights the high demand for AI talent and highlights the potential for individuals with AI skills to earn up to 47 percent higher wages.

“Amazon is launching AI Ready to help those who want to learn about AI and take advantage of the tremendous opportunity that lies ahead. The following initiatives are designed to unlock opportunities in the workplaces of today’s workers and the next generation,” said Swami Sivasubramanian, vice president of data and AI at AWS.

The three new initiatives are:

– Eight new and free artificial intelligence and generative artificial intelligence courses

– The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Generative AI Scholarship, which provides more than 50,000 high school and university students worldwide access to the new Udacity Generative AI course.

– A new collaboration with Code.org designed to help students learn about generative artificial intelligence

Those interested in Amazon’s free courses can access the original generative AI training and introduction to CodeWhisperer on AWS Educate. The rest of the free courses, including learning how to use Amazon’s Transcribe speech-to-text generator, are on the AWS Skill Builder site.

According to the company, Amazon offers courses to developers and the technical audience on the basics of rapid design, low-code machine learning on AWS, building LLm on AWS, and building creative AI applications using Amazon Bedrock.

Amazon is launching AI Ready to help those who want to learn about AI and take advantage of the huge opportunity ahead. These initiatives are designed to open up opportunities not only for the current workforce but also for future generations, the e-commerce giant said.

Amazon says talent demand for AI jobs is growing, with companies willing to pay higher wages to those with the skills.
